When I used to wheel a Wrangler I could only dream of portal axles... So much clearance with so little lift.... mmmmmmmmmmm

Yikes. I saw a 99 or so Outback the other day that was body lifted over the subframes on big tires, so the suspension was still at reasonable angles but it was probably 12" over stock clearance. Not sure how that works out.
